DUNGEONS OF WAR
I have seen the faces of eyes that have turned and walked away
A trembling hand upon the hilt
Skies of blue turn to dismal grey
Many feet in a foreign land
Many banners raised
This I've seen and we'll see again
Unless the faults of our kind are erased!
Away from the dungeons of war
Where the fire falls like rain
How many lives are spent in a mask of flaming pain?
In need of a reason they shall stain the sinner's sword
With futile hopes of gaining a crown as a just reward.
Tears are shed over brothers lost
and half a man never feels the same
The hands seem clean
of the men behind the scenes of Zalar's games
I have seen the faces of those who never really walk away...
Empty stares,
a bleeding heart
and vengeance stored 'til the final day!
Away from the dungeons where the innocent are slain
How many minds are lost in daze of placing blame?
This is the season to make plowshares from our swords
In future hopes of gaining peace as the just reward!

Escaping Nepthon / Sneak-Break-Kick
I'm sitting here, without a care in life
Alone,
lost,
in despair
I need the golden leaves of home
Please lead me there
to find the peace of mind
the glowing Citadel
I will not spend my life inside a cell!
How do you fare, lothlorien?
I shall be there unless this fire swallows the things I love
No more nightmares, lothlorien
Will I know where to look for you
amongst the untrue?
At last on my way
The dark forces cover up the day
I've heard them say, Zalar has brought decay to you
This can't be true...
How do you fare, lothlorien?
I shall be there before this fire swallows the things I love
No more nightdares, lothlorien
Will I know where to sail for you amidst the deep blue?
Time is on my side
Escape tonight at high tide
Brave the ice sea ride
Beware the reef spikes
the fog will hide

Mindshine (brainglow)

MINDSHINE
In amongst the rising thunder
There is an island free of strife
But if the material pulls you under
it's time to take another look at our lives
We are giving when receiving
Should we choose to chase the dawn
Put Past Perceiving
Back Behind Now
It's another morning's yawn
And in your eyes, I can see the sunshine!
In around a world of living
There is room for us to grow
But if the material pulls you under
then there is much for us to know
There are many miles between the minds of men
MAKING MONEY MOVING MOTION
Put past perceptions
Back behind now
Cease to wrestle your emotions
'Cause in your eyes, I can see the sunshine!
Can we find the reason for the life that's not around?
Is it just the season? Or the search for newer sounds?
Should we show our senses something secret?
Worthless war defenses am to keep us on the up and up and up and up and up...
In amidst the rising shudder
of the feast of coming dawn
With a light above from the Tridium yielding Faith to move along
And in your eyes I can see the sunshine!
SPIRIT OF ONE
Let's start it again
Turn the yearly clock backwards and do it a new way
Must they always defend?
Sneaking fingers of politics
Where is the conscience?
Let's break away free
Leading lives of reunion with the Spirit of One
Let's all seek to agree
Let the journey be over
For the Spirit of One is our only gift shared

MID-WINTER'S MORNING CHANT (MWMC)
Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo
Here I stand in silent wonder of it all
Gazing deep into the shadows on the wall
Many times my voice will carry
Many times it won't at all
Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo
In the distance I can see the fire's tail
Meccadon will wait, he trusts we will not fail
Many times my spirit's strong and often it is frail
Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo Oo
Serpent At The Cliff Path
Silent searcher serpent singing seven suffer songs
Flying flirter fervent flinging falling farther flung
Trust and be blameless, climb the Cliff Path
Wishing water wider weather waking without want
Tipping totter tighter tether taking taller trunk
Circle Centax, cave of future, certain captive cell
Simple structured slave of suture slaying serpent spell
Trust and be blameless, cross the Cliff Path
Each step more swiftly, illusion of wrath
Myth's remain nameless, wisdom's last laugh

MID-WINTER'S NIGHT DREAM (MWND)
[following poem accompanies the instrumental track]
Upon the edge of gleaming ledge
with endless echoes
spikes of ice
We traveled to the Cave of Centax
Unaware, the coldest price
Silent survivors sustaining sleep
Whispering wishes, freezing flight
A path of perils, dream's delight
To dream upon mid-winter nights
of the warmth of summer's morning light
To scale the rim of tunnels dim
with endless echoes
coldest stone
We slept inside a sacred vision
All together
All alone
Silent shudders straining sight
Wisps of winter, freezing fright
A path of peril, doom's delight
To dream upon mid-winter nights
The glistening walls where water falls
with endless echoes
splashing deep
The Needle Leaves to sting my party
Wandering in a Lotus sleep
To trudge the trail where many fail
with endless echoes
biting frost
Returning to the Cave of Centax
Tricked into a circle, lost
Upon the edge of gleaming ledge
with endless echoes

Winter's Dying

WINTER'S DYING
Winter's dying
I can feel the cold though
Songs are sighing
Days and dream are hard to hold
Lost Dreams
Lost Treasures
Simple times of foolish pleasures
Broken rhymes
Scattered measures
Stuck inside such dormant leisure
Lost Dreams
Stolen Vision
Falling over small decisions
Careless words
A deep incision
Causing us to lose position
Winter's dying
Knowing what we're told is true
Spirit's flying high
While melodies are bought and sold
New Dreams
New Treasures
End the times of foolish pleasure
Open Minds
Moral Measures
Substitute complacent leisure
Spring Dreams
Summer Visions
Confident in all decisions
Careful words
Heal incisions
Giving love a new position
A new position

Savior

SAVIOR
Sitting here in my basement
I am thinking of you
And I have been confused before
Knowing there's no replacement
For the things only you can do
And I have been confused before
but never before has it caused my heart to soar!
Now you're all of my mind
Savior of our day
Inspire me at nighttime
as our friends will watch we play for you
Summertime, sweet surrender, whispers
and music in our ears
Life goes on through many such doors
We'll meet again of course, of course
Touching time, talk and tender feelings
Your music calms our fears
But we've no time for sweet remorse
We'll meet again of course, of course
Now you're all of my mind
Savior of our day
Inspire me at nighttime
as the world will watch, we play for you

STYGIAN BARQUE
I can see what you mean,
but I cannot believe
that you've always been lonely,
alone, with your dreams.
You can draw your strength from me,
You can take what you see in this man
who is only alone without dreams.
Stripped of my heart,
raped of the things that I seem to be needing.
Drifting apart,
torn into (two) pieces of separate feelings.
Stygian Barque,
sails in a stir with my innocence grieving.
Where do I start?
Is this the way that a man should be feeling?
Can I mean what I feel?
I assure you it's really
a dream that you're needing
to break away from your emptiness.
From the spiraling stream,
where the heart intervenes
with the mind, comes reality
and true unity of your dreams.
Stripped of my heart,
raped of the things that I seem to be needing.
Drifting apart,
torn into (two) pieces of separate feelings.
Stygian Barque,
sails in a stir with my innocence grieving.
Where do I start?
Is this the way that a man should be feeling?

Prey To Destiny

PREY TO DESTINY
I just can't find my way, again it's another day
I don't think I'm gonna make it alone
I'm on the doorstep but there's nobody home
It's such an endless tour,
and of the future we can never be sure
There's many things that we'll never know
Our heart's on fire but the face doesn't show
the pain
No I can't see the day when things will ever go the 'right' way
But Lord knows that you gotta be strong,
You gotta keep on movin' along
I'm prey to destiny, though I don't wanna be
Alone again it seems, so many reaching short of dreams
You know that time will hold the things you desire
Just to see how long you'll kindle the fire
So hard to feel my way,
with the questions changing every day
There's many wonders that we'll never see
The hands are laboring when the heart should be free to roam
No I can't see the day
when things will ever go the 'right' way
But Lord knows I know how to be strong,
I'm gonna keep on movin' along
You can blame the end on destiny,
but that I refuse to see
'Cause God knows how to help us be strong,
he's gonna keep us movin' along
Time never stands still for wishers
Fate has a hand in the deal
Those who sleep their lives away
never see the stars in the sky
Some fall and pray to destiny, though I won't kneel
For something I don't feel
Time never stands still for wishers
Fate has a hand in the deal
Those who work their lives away
never see the stars in their own eyes
Some fallen prey to destiny, though I won't kneel

Standing Alone

STANDING ALONE
Standing alone
a voice is calling me to roam
Whether to wander
away from my home
It's never easy
to stand alone
to stand alone...
On the verge of losing reason
Lost reality
Like the changing of the seasons
Seeking Harmony
On the edge of broken mornings
Gaining sanity
Overlooking scattered warnings
Again it's only me
Again, it's only me
Standing alone
a voice is calling me back home
Always I ponder
Always to roam
It's never easy
To stand alone
to stand alone
to stand alone
